Joy Houses

Their sizes run from 10 m² for the Single room to 45 m² for the Studio with a kitchenette. The standard and deluxe sea-view options measure 16 and 25 m², while Jungle Sea View is 22 m². Each type accommodates two people except deluxe sea view, which has capacity for three.

Balconies and terraces recur across the range, and several rooms have a seating area and minibar. Sea views are a defining feature of standard sea view, deluxe sea view and the studio; Jungle Sea View also has a terrace and a view. The studio stands apart with its private kitchenette, equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle and kitchenware. The other options focus on sleeping space and outdoor access.

Joy Houses has a garden, patio, balcony, terrace and outdoor dining area, alongside direct access to the beach and BBQ facilities. Car hire and a shuttle service are available for transport; the shuttle is paid. A minimarket on site and a safety deposit box are also provided. Massage treatments include full-body, hand, head, couples, foot, neck and back massage.

Food and drinks are available at the restaurant, bar and snack bar, and rooms have minibars. Free private parking is on site and requires a reservation; WiFi is free. Haad Rin occupies the southern tip of Koh Phangan, where village streets connect the shoreline with cafés, restaurants and small shops. Joy Houses has direct beach access, and Haad Rin Nai Beach is 150 m away. Haad Rin Nok, the Sunrise Beach shore associated with the Full Moon Party, is part of the area's monthly celebrations. For food nearby, Mer Ka Ba is 700 m away and Ristorante Pizzeria Fellini is 1 km away; the Haad Rin Queen pier is within the village.

Koh Phangan has no airport, so visitors arrive by boat. From Koh Samui, the Haad Rin Queen sails directly from Bangrak to Haad Rin in around 20–30 minutes; its pier is 1000 m from Joy Houses. Travellers arriving at Thong Sala can continue south by shared songthaew. The hill road to Haad Rin is steep, so take care if travelling by scooter. Joy Houses offers a paid shuttle, and free private parking is available on site by reservation.

The Full Moon Party site is 1.3 km from Joy Houses; the monthly event takes place on Haad Rin Nok. Haad Yuan, 2 km away, and Haad Thian, 2.5 km away, are roadless coves reached by taxi-boat from Haad Rin. The Israeli House temple is 900 m away. Full Moon week is a peak travel period, as are mid-December to mid-February and July-August, so those dates bring more visitors to Haad Rin.
